A three-day informative, interactive, and inspirational trauma recovery seminar brought to you by SilverBell Global and trauma-recovery expert Lou Lebentz.
The Voyage Experience
With innovative insight, metaphorical teaching methods, impressive clinical skills, and resonant story-telling, Lou Lebentz takes us on a Voyage through the three essential stages of the recovery journey from trauma and addiction. Come away resourced with a far more integrated, holistic approach to clients with trauma and addiction.
Day 1 - Expand the Mind
The journey begins with self-awareness and understanding, diving into psycho-education, grounding techniques, and essential stabilization practices. We will uncover the layers beneath mental health labels and begin to recognize how trauma profoundly impacts diverse presentations.
Day 2 - Befriend the Body
Navigating the waves of healing requires skill. During Day 2, we will learn how to guide ourselves and others to stay present in the body, acknowledge emotions, and identify past wounds. We’ll explore methods of empowering clients to let go of survival strategies that no longer serve and master the craft of creating new narratives to support them as they begin to safely “swim in the sea" of their somatic body system.
Day 3 - Touch the Soul
On Day 3, we will gaze to the horizon to envision you and your client’s destination. The Voyage recognizes the importance of having a higher purpose, traveling a spiritual path, and developing community for every journey. Imagination becomes our compass as we learn to weave hopes, dreams, and goals into the fabric of transformation - for others and ourselves.
We will celebrate the completion of The Voyage and our continuous becoming with a dinner, DJ, and dance party in the garden.
